Women's Ministries April 8, 2024

We are saddened to share news of the unexpected passing of Patricia Antoine-Norton, who has served as the Women’s Ministries Coordinator for the Wisconsin Conference since 2018. After attending church on Sabbath, April 6, she passed away in her sleep that night.

Pat, as she was known, also served for many years on the conference Women’s Ministry Committee and in her local church as a leader in Health Ministries and Women’s Ministries planning and leading out in many retreats. She also used her talents during Wisconsin camp meeting by sharing her love of singing and as a teacher for the Kindergarten class.

Pat always had a smile on her face and an encouraging word for everyone. She talked about Jesus wherever she went and her messages to the women of Wisconsin were always filled with scripture and encouraging messages of faith and hope. We are inspired by her dedicated service and await the glorious resurrection when she will met her Lord and Savior, Jesus!

In a testimony she shared with the Wisconsin Conference a number of years ago, Pat wrote this prayer in a message to her younger self and it speaks to how she lived her life:

My prayer for you is this: Don’t give up. Keep persevering. Always have a positive attitude and outlook. Rely on God. Trust in His plan and timing. Study His Word and God will bless you each day in Him.”

Memorial services are planned for Sunday, April 14 at the Racine Seventh-day Adventist Church. More details will be shared as they are available.

Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends and we grieve with them over the sudden loss of a faithful servant of God.
