Scripture for the Empowerment Weekend: 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

“Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal

Due to COVID-19, plus everyone not having been vaccinated by April 16-18, 2021, some may not feel comfortable assembling together, with the emphasis on social distancing and the extra care needed for handling of food. The Wisconsin Women’s Ministry Committee has a solution for that. The retreat will be done virtually, with the option of listening in, if you are unable to participate virtually.

Since we will be doing this retreat virtually, there will be step by step instructions on the proper way to log in and connect, as well as a demonstration of desk and computer stretches to ensure that you stay healthy even with the use of your devices. There will be scheduled times for prayer and of course, a virtual nature walk.

Breakaway options also include step by step instructions on: How to make your own prayer journal – a kit will be mailed to you; Healthy cooking with the use of an air fryer and an Instapot, Bible marking to claim promises to overcome obstacles that we are facing.

Items required for this virtual retreat:

Computer or iPad, or Telephone          Your Bible

A comfortable chair or couch               An open mind

A surrendered heart                            A submitted will

Share this information and mail in your registration early so that you can receive your mailed package in time for the Empowerment Weekend: April 16-18, 2021! Remember to register by March 15, 2021 to receive $10 off your registration fee!

I look forward to connecting with you and worshipping with you on that special weekend as we learn to overcome obstacles and as we learn to triumph in Christ, in Jesus Christ alone ! Amen!
