Vanessa Sloan began teaching grades 3-6 at Green Bay Adventist Junior Academy in 2021. No stranger to Wisconsin, Vanessa’s family lives in Wisconsin and she attended Wisconsin Academy all four years of her high school career.
Vanessa earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Union College in 2017 and is also pursuing her master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration at the University of Southern Indiana. She says, “I’ve always known that I wanted to be a teacher so I guess you could say that I’m living my dream every single day! I trust that God has big plans for us this year.”
When not teaching, Vanessa likes to read and discover new food places with her husband, Zach. They also enjoy exploring their city, especially taking advantage of the various exercise opportunities in the area. Vanessa says she is “so excited to be able to serve in Green Bay.”
