Jennifer Jill Schwirzer and Sarah McDugal will be holding a four-day 2:14 pm seminar Sunday-Wednesday of camp meeting. Jennifer will speak Sunday and Monday, Sarah will speak Tuesday and Wednesday.

Jennifer Jill Schwirzer, LPC, NCC, has been asked by the Lake Union to help implement a program/priority of the NAD called “Project Safe Church.” It is a program to help churches and conferences deal with allegations of abuse in the church. Jennifer is a graduate of Capella University and has extensive experience in individual and group counseling as well as seminars. She is also a well-published author and has made many public appearances lecturing on the principles of mental health. Jennifer specializes in Christian and wholistic counseling and recovery from eating disorders. She uses an eclectic approach, which includes cognitive behavioral therapy and interpersonal and motivational interventions.

Sarah McDugal regularly appears on TV/radio as a speaker on forgiveness, healing, and how to better handle abuse in the church. She holds a Master’s in International Development from Andrews University, as well as a Bachelor’s in English and Religious Studies from Southern Adventist University.
