Glenn Russell

Department Chair/Associate Professor of Religion and Biblical Languages at Andrews University

Dr. Glenn Russell was born to missionary parents in Egypt and grew up in Lebanon. He has served as a pastor and as an academy Bible teacher. Currently he is a professor of world religions and missions and chair of the Department of Religion and Biblical Languages at Andrews University. Passionate about global missions, Russell directs several mission trips each year as well as speaking or teaching in over 20 countries. He is host of the weekly radio & media program Scriptural Pursuit. He is married to Sharon Russell, a retired reading specialist, and they have two adult children. In joyful response to all that God has done for him, Glenn has dedicated his life to the ministry of bringing individuals to Christ and equipping young people for a lifetime of service to their Creator and Redeemer. Most importantly, Glenn Russell is a sinner saved by God’s wondrous grace.
