Pastor Dan Darrikhuma immigrated with his parents and brothers from Mizoram in Northeast India in 1964. He grew up in Maryland and attended Seventh-day Adventist schools from first grade through seminary. He is a US Army veteran where he served as an infantryman and paratrooper.

As a pastor, he spent his first fifteen years in children’s and youth ministry. He then pastored a rural, three-church district, a small town church, and he now pastors the Waldorf SDA Church just outside of Washington, DC. He is passionate about seeing his members inspired and empowered to minister using their spiritual gifts. He is also the leader in the Brandywine, MD church plant.

His wife Donna and he are empty nesters, but enjoy their vacations with their three children, six grandchildren, and one great grandchild. At home they enjoy the company of their rescued Chihuahuas (Tinkerbelle and Chico) and Russian Blue cat, Comet. After family and ministry, Dan is passionate about playing his accordion which he has done for 47 years.
