ACS Camp Meeting Activities

The Adventist Community Service (ACS) cabin at camp meeting is a busy place offering many classes, activities, drawings, and special projects throughout the week. Be sure and stop by the ACS cabin at camp meeting and see what all we have to offer.

1. We will have many activities in our ACS cabin again this year.

– Stop by to sew a quilt block, walker bag, or a little girl’s dress for Africa.

– One day we will plant a cup of succulents to share with a friend.  Bring your own cup or take one that we have while supply lasts.

– Bring in a project you are having trouble with– we can try to  help you figure it out.

Other activities are in the works.  Watch for announcements.

2. I am asking if any church would like to put together a poster board of what is going on in their church to bring it. I would be happy to display it at the cabin. Any activity that is outreaching to our communities is welcome.

3. Our Big Project: We are planning on collecting nonperishable food and personal care items for the Marquette County Food shelf in Montello, Wi.  (See list below). With food prices so high, the need is great and this is a way we can give back to the people in the County our Camp is located in.

4. We will also have a meet and greet time on Sunday afternoon.  All ACS leaders, those interested in community outreach, and anyone who would like to learn more are welcome. Come prepared to share and learn. Watch for location and time.

If you have any suggestions, Please, Please feel free to contact me I would love to have some input.

Your willingness to come and volunteer at the cabin would be appreciated.
