The Women’s Ministry group of the Woodland Community SDA Church has developed close bonds as sisters in the Lord through their ministry to one another and to the community. They make themed monthly Bible verse journals to support each other. This month’s theme is entitled “Never Alone.” They recently held a recipe exchange, followed by a musical vespers to bring in the Sabbath. They made succulent teacups of happiness to share with their friends in the community, and have found many requests for prayer that have brought close bonds of friendship. “Our meetings have brought us closer together,” says member Nadine Thomas. “I’m thankful for our group.”
