Rick Binford, has pastored in the Wisconsin Conference since 2008. Pastor Binford and his wife, Rita, were married and baptized into the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Fairbanks, Alaska, in 1978. After their baptism’s they moved to Escanaba, Michigan where Rick became a Bible worker, got involved in jail ministry, stop smoking clinics, and other outreach ministries.
In 2002, he was called to be a lay pastor in Nome, Alaska. He accepted the four-church district call and enjoyed getting to know the indigenous people of Nome, Gambell, Savoonga, and Selqwik on the arctic circle.
“I have a passion for sharing Christ and His righteousness to a dying world,” says Pastor Binford, “And I love giving personal Bible studies.”
Pastor Binford and Rita have two grown children, Kiana and Trevor.
